I ate some raw beef by accident, is this bad?

I made myself a hamburger, it was only cooking on the outside. Which it was starting to become burnt on the outside, so I took it off the grill. Well, at first the edges tasted fine, but I kept eating it. When I got to the middle of the burger it started to taste odd, but still kept eating it. I ate like 3/4 of the burger, then I was like this doesn't taste right. I looked down and saw it was still red on the inside, and I was like man I didn't cook it all the way. Well, Im a person that never wastes, so I ate it all. Now my stomach is aching a little, I don't know if this is real, or its all in my head. But, I did drink 2 bottles of water after I ate the burger. I don't know if that caused the ache. Also, it was beef that I bought 2 days ago from Marsh. How should I discipline my 5 year old brother?

My 5 year old half brother is just plain and simply bad. He swears, hits, is disrespectful, listens to no one, and says violent sentences such as, "I will cut your head off." Interesting Guy Problem, Advice and Thoughts?

Okay, this is going to be long, but I really need truthful opinions from people who aren't my friends.. Alright so I met this guy in drivers ed during winter time lets call him Matt and me and him became super good friends and now were really close and i definitely consider him a best friend. I talk to him about everything! Anyways the other night we went ice skating together, and i had his phone while he was doing some weird trick and a friend called him, so I figured id just answer it.. so i did. Never knew this phone call would lead to such.. insaness. Well this guy was like hii ill call him Jeff, and im like hi.. and we talked for like 3 mins lol no big deal but then Matt came over and yanked the phone away and i was like whoops ha ha, but still we continued the night as normal, and at dinner matt told me that jeff was supposed to come with us but he got grounded.. so matt told me a little about him. He liked country music, they did cross country together, that the kid was super nice, blah bla bla.. I was like oh you'll have to invite Jeff to our next outing together. After that i drove home, and i was like well since jeff will be coming to our next outing together i might as well introduce myself. I found him on facebook and emailed him telling him next outing, grounded or not, we were dragging him along lol just in a joking way :P and we just started emailing more and found out we had SO MUCH IN COMMON. we both adore country, and we just get each other. That night he asked for my number, and I gave it to him thinking "hey new cool best friend, woo" I was pretty happy. Well me and Jeff started texting everyday, and talking more and more getting closer and closer, then came the pphone calls and one night he just told me he couldn't talk to me anymore. I was like WHAAA. like me and this kid had such a good relationship that i couldn't stand him saying that to me. I asked why and he told me he couldn't tell me much, just that him and Matt were in a fight and that he couldn't talk to me anymore.. and I was like no that's not happening i dont care what kind of fight you and matt are in , i dont want to be in the middle of it. Jeff told me we could keep chitchatting but only if i kept it a secret from matt and i was like alright.. so me and Jeff then webcammed for one night for like four hours, and we just were really flirty like we had been alot.. and it was just cute innocent stuff, getting to know each other (im only sixteen lol, so nothing serious) well when we hung up on webcam that night i came to realize i was developing feeling for this kid. alot.. and so me and him planned on meeting that thursday at the movies and his friend John was coming along with Matt and my two girl friends Alice and Joanne.. two nights before we went to the movies though I got a text from Matt saying he liked me alot and he couldn't control his feelings, and I did NOT feel the same way at all, like i just see him as a friend completely. So I told him that I dont feel the same and that I only see him as a best friend and i hope we can remain that way, and he seemed pretty upset so I sent him a text saying you know what who knows maybe one day in the future.. and I realized i should have never said that.. Jeff told me a few days later that Matt took that as a "i should keep trying then".. So on thurs. when I went to the movies it was so awkward.. I could barely talk to Jeff because I had to act like i didn't know him or else matt would get mad and at the movies i sat in between both of them and i just wanted to snuggle with jeff and matt kept trying to like touch me and i felt uncomfortable and i couldn't flirt with jeff at all, and i wanted him to know that i liked him.. and anyways afterwords we went for ice cream and stuff and were hanging out and Matt was in my footsteps ALL NIGHT. like everywhere i was he was too. EVERYWHERE. i couldn't talk to anyone all night, and i was getting so annoyed with him. Anyways, I took everyone home because I had my license and when i said bye to jeff i gave him a huge hug and was just like well that was an.. interesting night.. and he just shook his head and smiled.. i wanted to like cry, i was like so much for that guy)': anyways i went to McDonald's and got a mcflurry cause i needed to think things over and i decided to text him just apologizing that the night was awkward and that i hope next time wouldn't have to be like that and he texted me back your amazing, dint worry about it <3 and so i decided to tell him.. everything. Is this router broken?

My friend gave me a router because I need a new one. Its a linsys WRT55AG. I connect it to my modem. In the back theres 4 ports and an internet port. When I put the ethernet cable for the internet in the internet port, I get a yellow internet icon and am not connected to it. When I put the ethernet cable in any of the 4 ports, the internet works. I only have another cable which connects to my other computer which is also in 1 of the 4 ports. The computers are in the same network and I can access each other, but my other computer doesn't receive internet. If I put the calbe in the internet port, the network doesn't even detect the second computer. Is the router broken? I can't connect to 192.168.1.1 while connect to the internet on my main computer (only if I place the modem wire to the internet port I can then access 192.168.1.1, however, I don't get an internet connection). All the TCP/IP 4 / 6 / DNS are set at obtain IP automatically, no password protections. Anyway to solve this? or new router?

Is it wind burn? How do I treat it?

I came home from a camping trip and while we were there we stopped at a nearby beach to look at tidepools. We wondered into the marshes and relaxed a little. It was cold out and VERY windy. Sand would whip your face all the time. When I got home I notices around my lips and on the tip of my nose I was flaky and a little red. It stung when I touched or applied moisturizer. Now mind you I was wearing sunscreen when we were at the beach but a very thin layer that could have worn off. I tried applying aloe Vera gel (green kind) and it stung like crazy and then faded off a little. It's been one day to two days since I found out about my wind burn/ sunburn. What is it exactly? So, recently got a new webcam because the last one I had, the wires got chewed to bits. I buy the HP Pro Webcam, install it, installed the driver, plugged it in and tried to talk in a skype call, nothing picked up. I opened the Webcam Companion to see if it even picked up, nothing. It isnt my USB ports because the last webcam I had was the Microsoft Lifecam 5000 and it worked fine. Could it be the brand of webcam seeing as I'm using a Microsoft computer and I've tried HP and Logitech webcams, but they don't work.

about 2 years ago we took my gateway laptop which was worth around 699 usd in for not being able to charge. they said that it was the motherboard and that it would never turn on again unless it was replaced. and they were going to charge 769 for the repairs. We said no and we would just buy a new computer. so today i took that very same laptop and exchanged the dead battery inside for a fully charged one, but it still did not charge, but it turned on for the first time in 3 years. I recently got injured last weekend when I was about a half mile into lake Ontario, from a beach in Port Dalousie which is by the city of St.Catharines. Insurance covered procedure then decided they didn't cover procedure and wants money back?

BCBS told me that they DID cover a certain procedure ( not pre-existing malady ) and so I went forward with procedure. They paid the claim. Adult with bad whooping cough! Advise!!?

I'm on my 5th week of whooping cough. I finally went to doctor 3rd week to be told I had walking pneumonia. I was given antibiotics and an inhaler. They did not work. Went back a week later and was diagnosed with whooping cough. I was told to keep doing the inhaler every 4 hours and I was given an inhaler with steroids in it to do 2x a day (to keep the swelling down in chest). I also take the cough syrup with codeine in it (takes the edge off but does not take the cough away). All this seems to keep the coughing fits down. I also sleep elevated in a cool room with a cough drop in my mouth! I hope you get relief soon, this stuff in no joke!

Laptop Charger, smelt burning!?

i was on my laptop and i smelt burning, it was charging at the time, i saw smoke coming from the charger box (dell inspiron 1525). i pulled the cord out of the laptop reli quick and then took it off the mains. the charger is not actually a dell one, but one off ebay that i bought a few months ago, and it came with 1 years warranty so it is still under that. i initially thought my laptop was fine, it worked as normal, but now when i got my brothers charger and go to charge it, it does not charge, and i can smell burning in the charging port of the laptop. what could be wrong with the laptop? and are the people who sold me the charger liable for any of it?

External Monitor Replacement?

So my laptop's monitor has been fused for a while now. I have been using an external monitor hooked to my laptop's VGA port and it works. However, I have been wanting to know if there is a way to show the BIOS/Boot into my external monitor. I have disabled my laptop's monitor, but that has not done any changes. The only way for me to enter into Windows is by turning my laptop on, wait a couple of seconds, and then hit the Enter Key, since I am dual-booting Win7 and Ubuntu. After waiting for a couple more seconds, the log-in screen is shown in my external monitor and I can use it from then on. So, is there any way for my laptop to display the BIOS into my external monitor?

Help with installing printer (hp laserjet 4050 n) for windows xp, please?

I recently bought the hp laserjet 4050 n printer second-hand. I want to install it on my dell laptop that runs on windows xp. I've connected the printer to the laptop, and windows automatically sensed the printer and said that it was ready to use, however the printer didn't seem to be installed. I installed it manually, using the driver for hp laserjet 4050 n ps, and windows says the printer is installed correctly but neither the test pages nor any other documents will print. I tried troubleshooting, but that hasn't helped either. The 'investigate' button in the troubleshooter says there may be a problem with the parallel port, but I have no idea where to go from here. Actually, I don't have an eating disorder, and I don't think that you sound crazy. At all. I feel as though you can feel successful about how you eat, if you were to eat healthily too... Like if you made the perfect 'diet' and stuck to it perfectly you could get some satisfaction out of that. Besides. I don't think that you really are happy. And whereas I think that you're right in saying that your parents aren't going to bend, a therapist might. Not that they would encourage your eating disorder, but they might find a middle of the road solution. Also, your parents sound like good ones. So why not tell them about your mentality? Not the morbidness, but why you feel that you do it. Just so that they can understand.

If they get offended explain to them that you are only trying to get the best out of them, you want them to shine infront of the people higher in charge. okay... well i know "how" it just doesnt seem to help, i breath in deep in my stomach and push a little...not to hard though so i dont over do it, but it still seems to hurt to sing.. even lip rolls hurt.. there is like a sharp pain lower in my throat.. How to access your time warner router?

CA Public Land duck Hunting?

Ok so im 16 years old and recently got my drivers license and i am getting ready for duck season and was wondering what are some good public lands places for duck hunting. I live in the bay area. I would prefer for some less populated places as im still not comfortable with the whole resevation and sweat line and lottery stuff. if you could also explain to me that it would be greatly appreciated as i have only hunted private land. Can you help me with this neutron star gravity question?

If you were in a rocket ship and you wanted to orbit a neutron star how far away would you have to orbit it and how fast would you have to travel. The fastest a rocket ship can travel is 27,000 miles per hour I think sorry if this is wrong and a something as soft as a marsh mellow would be accelerated to around 100,000 miles per hour to the surface, if it just appeared at near the surface of the neutron star. So travelling at 27,000 how far away from the neutron star would you have to be to safely orbit with a person on board the rocket ship. Also the rocket ship has to be inside the gravitational time dilated area radius of space time the neutron star creates. So this rocket ship can time travel into the future using gravitational time dilation. Can it be done because I asked a question before a long time ago and a few people on yahoo answers said yes it was possible for the rocket ship to orbit a typical neutron star. But I was not specific enough. I forgot to say the rocket ship had to be inside the curvature of space the neutron star creates, in order for the rocket ship to time travel into the future with gravitational time dilation. So is it possible for a rocket ship to do this because the fastest rocket ship can only go 27,000 miles per hour and I do not know how far the radius of the curvature of space time is from the surface of a typical sized neutron star to the end point where the curvature of space time ends where there is no gravitational time dilation. Transferring information off of computer?

I have several computers that I want to consolidate with regard to their information. One is an old Compaq, circa 1996, and I'm wondering if there is an easy way to do this ie. copying profile, etc. The Compaq has a usb 1 port. The others are newer computers running windows 98 and xp. If someone could give me step by step instructions I would greatly appreciate it. I'm trying to do it without simply opening and searching through all folders.....I know I would overlook something. Wow Cat797 is one awesome king. But really depends how powerfull your locomotive is. need to consider locos have an easy job pulling loads along a relatively flat rail road with metal rails that have much less resistance. The 797 however has to be able to climb up inclines and move on its huge gignormous wheels which have immense surface area in contact with a muddy sticky floor. So I would say the Caterpillar 797 should be much more powerful right on!

Ipod/Itunes Help Please!?

So whenever I used to plug in my Ipod (It's an 8GB 3g Touch btw), everything worked fine, it would connect to Itunes, blah blah blah. But ever since I got a new USB cord for it, both my computer and Itunes do not pick it up. It still charges, but nothing senses it. I've tried everything everyone has told me to do, like resetting my Ipod, re-installing itunes, trying a different USB port, and more. If a neutron star just appeared in our solar system just in between mars and earth would it instantly be attracted to the earths surface. Because a neutron star can accelerate and force objects onto its surface at around I think 100,000 miles per hour. Something as soft as a marsh mellow if just instantly appeared on the surface of the neutron star would have more destructive power than a atomic bomb. So what would happen to the neutron star if it appeared in between the half way distance between earth and mars. Also if the neutron star crashed into earth or mars, because of the neutron stars strong gravity. Would it instantly attract objects like rocks and other things from earths surface onto itself with its strong gravity, or even rip a hole through the earths surface with its strong gravity making its mass larger. Because a neutron star can only get so large in mass and then it will collapse into a black hole. Would this happen to the neutron star on earth or mars, would the neutron star collapse into a black hole from its mass getting larger from attracting debree like rocks and then destroy any planet even Jupiter from turning into a black hole. So is it impossible for a neutron star to exist in our solar system, or would its gravitational pull not attract it to the planets as long as it was far away enough between them. 23 month old behavior worries me. Help plz!?

It strikes me as strange that I can help any one else with these types of problems but when it is my own child I don't know what I am doing! My lil girl will be 2 in August this year and her father says she needs to start learning. The reason for that is when we are talking she will start yelling to be heard over us but when we stop she stops. When we get onto her she slaps at us, we change her she kicks at us, when we tell her to stop she tell us "no stop bad, or shut up." He thinks that whooping her and yelling at her is doing good and that is what we should do. I think that sitting her in her time out chair in the time out corner while getting on her level to explain to her why she is in trouble would do allot better. Then on top of this she listens to her father to much so she is cusseing allot and I dont know how to explain to her that it is bad. I mean how do you explain to a 2 yr old that daddy doing it isnt bad but when she does it it is. I just made a new character (blood elf) level 25. My other character is a lvl 65 hunter and i was always solo and did quests so I'm not quite sure at the game. But, my question is for my new character. I go into battles and I see other lower level rogue kicking *** but every time I try and whoop some another person kills me almost instantly. My question is, what is their motive? On their website they said they they would never pray for a damned soul (aka "fag") but at the same time if a gay person came into their church, they would basically accept them with open arms and teach them "the right ways". They also said that Jesus didn't die for everyone, but rather just for his "sheep". So I'm confused. From what I knew about Christianity, Jesus died for EVERYONE, and that you were supposed to pray for the people that didn't know God. Most snakes will bite if pressed. There are differences, though, in how they bite and how much they bite. The two main black sakes you're going to run into in WVa are Black Rat Snakes and Black Racers. Timber Rattlesnakes come in a dark morph, but I'm not sure I'd expect to see them in marshy areas. They're more rocky, dry upland sorts of snakes. To be honest, I'm not sure I'd look for the other snakes in marshy areas either, but you never know, I guess. Anyway, the appearance difference is that Black Rats have a nice, "Ivory"-colored belly and often show traces of the light-grey juvenile patterning well into adult, while Black Racers have a white chin and a black belly and are a nice glossy black all the way down. Behaviorally Racers are touchy, cranky and aggressive, while Rat snakes are docile and relaxed as a rule. This means that if you corner and pick up a racer, it will bite you, bite you again and then keep on biting you. Racers can be hard to keep because they may be so touchy that they keep striking at you and bang their noses on the glass or screen of the cage. Black Rats will often give you a bite when you pick them up, to express their irritation, but it's a simple bite-and-back, almost like a slap. Black Rats don't hang on and chew like Garter Snakes and Water snakes like to. Once it's bitten you once, (and Rat Snake bites are really not a big deal - I've had much worse results from blackberry brambles picking berries. Those things will tear you up.), a Black Rat usually calms right down and becomes almost friendly. They make great pets, too; very easy to keep, very easy to handle, and since they feed on small mammals (and most houses are infested with mice), if you have a few live traps, you have a free source of food.
